The Senior Analyst Energy / North America FP&A

The Senior Analyst Energy / North America FP&A role supports the Global Procurement organization and FP&A team.The North America energy spend is$0.7 bn.

Key Accountabilities:


  • Reporting processes including: Net (Inflation)/Deflation including productivity (including understanding and validating all key assumptions), spend coverage, global sensitivities/projections, risk/opps, commodity assumptions and weekly/monthly dashboard's.

  • Manages information flow between category and client teams to ensure alignment is critical to this role.

  • Provide ad-hoc support to the COE/category, CFO, Sr. Director FP&A, Commodity Risk Management teams as necessary.

  • Support the Director in NA consolidated reporting across all categories.

Qualifications:

Sr. Analyst Paperboard & Corrugate FP&A

The Sr. Analyst Paperboard & Corrugate FP&A role supports the Global Procurement organization and FP&A team. Paperboard and Corrugate is a sub-category under the Flex category.The NA spend for Paperboard and Corrugate is $0.7 Bn.The Sr. Analyst role has full ownership of North America Beverages/Independent Bottlers detail Net Commodity FP&A Planning/Forecasting and NAB alignment.In addition, the Sr. Analyst provides support to the manager of Global Flex (spend of $3.0Bn) as well as provides ad-hoc project/analysis category support to the procurement team.

This role is also responsible for ensuring all SOX compliance requirements are met.

Sr. Analyst - Brand Finance

This role is the Finance lead on Quaker Cookies and Biscuit North America cross-functional brand team. The Total Cookies business drives nearly $125MM of Gross Sales for the Quaker Foods and Snacks division. As a core team member, this position will provide fact-based analysis and insights to drive clear decision making. As a member of the Cookies team, this role will be responsible for managing all aspects of the business on a day-to-day basis as well as developing long-term strategic plans to ensure sustainable growth (SBP/AOP). This position will have accountability for all Revenue, forecasting and control.

Key responsibilities include:

· Lead the Total Cookies sales and trade process for Annual Operating Plan, Period Operating Reviews, Strategic Business Plan and interim forecasts. Ensure compliance with all planning deadlines and requirements.

· Analyze and communicate ongoing business results and insights, forecasts and its key drivers to the Cookies cross- functional and leadership team.

· Monitor IRI consumer movement, trends in customer shipments, and trade promotional activities to provide accurate volume forecasts.

· Ensure process and financial integration between Supply Chain, Customer Finance and the business team on all financial assumptions used to build P&L forecasts. Provide opinions on achievability of plans and associated risks. Own the P&L.


· Support cross-functional team and senior leadership with ad-hoc financial analyses and data requests.

· Present AOP, period results, and business insights to the Quaker Leadership Team

· Assist in competitor and marketplace analysis.

· Ad Hoc Projects.



· Bachelors Degree, with an Accounting or Finance concentration (MBA Desirable).

· 6+ years of experience and practical exposure in some of the following roles: Financial Planning and Analysis, Sales Finance, evaluating business performance, Financial Accounting and Control.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of management.

· Ability to provide thought-leadership and business partnership to a cross functional team

· Results-oriented with an ability to initiate and lead projects to completion.
